PROBLEM & SOLUTION
PROBLEM
Radnet didn't have a centralized site that displays all the promotional videos, infographics, and interviews that were being displayed on the waiting rooms of mammogram/radiology centers.

SOLUTION
Work with developers in designing a website that holds all the promotional videos, infographics, and interviews in one centralized place.
user research
USER PERSONAS
Patient demographics are 60% women and 40% men in mid 50s - 70s. Most visitors of RadNet TV are patients familiar with RadNet and would like to know more about the Radiology field. Potentially, they can even recommend this service to potential clients.

MAIN FEATURE PRIORITIZATION
Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and HBO were the main influences. The main challenge is to balance business goals, creativity, and user needs. Most desired elements were:

- Ability to horizontally scroll through thumbnails
- Ability to search by category/specific doctor/user input
- Hero banner on top

MED-FI DESIGNS

NO NEED TO REDESIGN
Researching other streaming platform's website revealed a homogenous design layout. I based RadNet TV off of Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and Disney+ as I wanted the users to be comfortable when browsing content. Hero banner provides the latest promoted news as well as a main call to action. Different sections are displayed and the contents can be horizontally scrolled.

Talking with the developer, the Bootstrap framework was planned on being used.

visual DESIGN SYSTEM

BRAND COLORS
RadNet's signature red and black brand color schemes were implemented (dark mode was established to be set to the default).

FINAL DESIGN & THOUGHTS

USER PERSONAS
Bootstrap was planned for the UI components for speed, as it was a priority to get this website up and running as soon as possible. As a result, this project was completed quickly from a design and development perspective.

SOME DESIGNS DON'T GO THROUGH
I created a template for how the banner would display the title and description of categories (descriptions longer than 2 lines would be truncated). However, the developer didn't have the time to implement the truncating feature. I've attempted to fix this by wanting to rewrite the category descriptions to be under 2 lines. This was an incredible learning experience from me, as I have to anticipate different skillsets and wants from each department I worked with.
